Roseanne founded Avanti Counseling and has been in private practice for 11 years. A graduate of Millersville University's Psychology Department, Roseanne went on to receive her Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Shippensburg University. She obtained her License as a Professional Counselor from the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors. Roseanne also received her Home & School Visitor's Certification from Bryn Mawr College. Roseanne has received her certification as a Clinical Trauma Professional. She has experience working with children, adolescents, teens and adults. Her training and education includes the following areas: depression, anxiety, self-injurious behaviors, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief, attachment issues, sexual identify issues, relational problems, and divorce. Roseanne is also a Christian Counselor. Roseanne uses a variety of counseling theories including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. Out of Roseanne's passion for counseling and love for connecting emotional and mental health to physical health, Avanti Counseling offers a service to combine both, On the Move Counseling. Roseanne is also a certified fitness instructor through Les Mills International and a judge for cheerleading competitions with Varsity and Spirit Brands. She has 3 children and enjoys going to the beach and running in her spare time.
